Introduction
Long back I was asked what I wanted to be. I said "Scientist". It was so long back I didn't even know what it meant. Sometime later when I repeated this to another person he asked me "in which field". The answer for this have changed with age from being a chemical engineer (among physics, chemistry and biology which we were taught at school) to a scientist who wanders through scientific means to unravel the unknown.
Childhood also introduced stories to very many individual and collective spiritual thoughts which have survived the vicissitudes of time. There were great historical individuals and Mythical stories which are so old that its unclear if its a real and historical character or a creation of the artist who created it. Some ideas refuses to dies down and it goes from strength to strength.
Are these two domains related? I am basing the blog purely on spiritual thoughts which has survived longer through multiple generations and which are not proved/disproved by science through series of repeatable experiments.
The purpose of this blog is to put together some thoughts i have learned over last 40 years. I am happy to be challenged. I do not have any strong opinion on the thoughts and are just the churning of thought as it occurs now at the existing level of understanding of both science and spirituality over years. I intend to publish through this new blog a series of extrapolation of spirituality through science. I am also happy to hear critical opinion against my posts and never intend to file a sedition case against anyone who are opposed to my opinions. I have a request that all opinion should be kept civil and the "I" in these articles is irrelevant. So do not try to search my real identity as I am a normal person in my life doing the daily chores like anyone. I make practical decisions daily but strongly rooted in the concept that it should not harm the world now or in future. If time permits make the world a better place to live for the present and future generations.
I will start with definition of Science and Spirituality as I understand and will expand on specific aspects in each blog. Hope these blogs survives at least till Google survives as a company.
